Marines who were at the harbor bar on Big Island, Sandy and I bought them all

a shot and then gave them a ride to the ship.

this was about 2004 and wonder how they are all today

AND MORE!!!!

I PAID OUT OF POCKET TO BECOME A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION

IN 2004

AS OF 2015 OVER 498,000 COMBAT TROOPS HAVE SIGNED UP.

AND ALOT OF REPEATS .

OVER 170,000 "ADOPTERS" WHO ALSO SIGN UP TO FULFILL THIER WISHES.


Kathy Sanders


Kathy is the "wrapper packer" and Vice President of ASWL .  she has done up to 10,000 wrapped gifts in one year.and every year works to make each gift wrapped ,with a bow for that soldier,sailor,airman,marine in combat area. and each one is done especially for  that "trooper" this was Kathy's 10 year and with the help and support of her husband Don and daughter ,Danielle. they make it all come together 

Norma Atwood
is our Treasurer. and has been with ASWL for over 12 
years. the grandmother to one of our "adopted" soldiers who was in Iraq and the wife of a retired Airforce . 
she is "cool" in her "shades"

Carol Biggerstaff ,has been with ASWL for many years and she does all the contacts

and pick ups for the Fenton, and Ellisville,Mo. areas 

she works very hard to get the perfect gift for our cambat troops

Bobbi Berg

 "Cookies for the Troops".

bobbi organizes and packs the baked goods for our combat troops .with over 600 lbs each year going out the various units .

Mark and Molly Lepage  have been with ASWL for many years and packing and sorting 

packages for the troops 

they are in DeSoto, Mo. so any info. or pick up for our troops  you can reach them

Karen Morris and her hard working daughter, Marissa Ruggiero have been with us for awhile . they usually are in charge of all the "fillers" that go into the boxes for the troops 

with lots of candy and surprises to go with their wrapped gifts.
